Visioning Survey

A Visioning Survey was an opportunity for the public to share input on key topics about the Delta Meadows Classification and General Plan. The results of the survey will:

  • Provide insight into the public’s preferences for future activities and experiences at Delta Meadows and the Locke Boarding House
  • Provide initial understanding of the public’s vision for the future of Delta Meadows and the Locke Boarding House
  • Increase the project team’s knowledge of the population that is interested in this project.

Virtual Scoping Meeting

A virtual scoping meeting was held via Zoom on Thursday, January 30, 2025 to provide additional information about the Delta Meadows Classification and General Plan EIR process and give interested parties an opportunity to comment on the scope and potential environmental effects of the project to be analyzed in the EIR. Virtual Visioning Workshop

A virtual visioning workshop was held via Zoom on Wednesday, January 22, 2025. Topics covered included:

  • Cultural and historical resources
  • Plants, animals, and ecology
  • Recreational opportunities
  • Potential facilities for recreation, access, and interpretation

Delta Meadows Visioning Open House

A Visioning Open House was held on Tuesday, November 12, 2024 at the Jean Harvie Community Center in Walnut Grove. The Open House included interactive stations on the following topics:

  • Cultural and historical resources
  • Plants, animals, and ecology
  • Recreational opportunities
  • Potential facilities for recreation, access, and interpretation
